Quick Question!

Say perhaps I wanted to trade a few cards from my paper collection for cards on mtgo.  How would that work in terms of pricing my cards to theirs? Also is this even an accepted mode of trade?  I know cards are generally worth less online but honestly I love to play modern and i'm tired of only being able to play it on cockatrice because the user interface is killing me...

Also worth noting my trade stock is not very great.  I mean not TERRIBLE but not great.  Idk if that will put on damper on this plan.  anyways anyone willing to help out with answer will be greatly appreciated.
