Counter target spell with converted mana cost 4 or greater.

Acum am 2 intrebari:
- daca am un spell cu delve si mana cost scris pe carte de 4, iar eu folosesc delve de 2. Atunci se aplica counter?
- daca am un spell cu convoke si mana cost scris pe carte de 4, iar eu folosesc 2 creaturi si 2 mana. Atunci se aplica counter?

A: No; delve only reduces the amount you actually spend. The mana cost of a card (and therefore its converted mana cost) is based solely on the mana symbols that appear in the top right-hand corner of the card. "

Atentie insa la cartile care au X in mana cost; desi X e considerat 0 cand e in hand sau library sau graveyard, cat timp este pe stack, valoarea lui X este egala cu cat ai platit. De exemplu, daca adversarul joaca Genesis Hydra cu X=2, il vei putea target-ui cu Disdainful Stroke.
