Topic: Wordpress plugin

Our community in Cluj-Napoca has a Wordpress blog that lists events, winners and other news, and the columnists have had a hard time to type all those card links so that tooltips work.

So now we have a plugin for Wordpress, that creates a button in the post edit page. Selecting a card name and pressing the button will turn the text into a deckbox link, with a tooltip! Just like here, on our forum.

So if any of you has a wordpress based blog about magic, and want to have nifty card tooltips like the ones on our community's blog, check out the plugin on the bottom of the help page here: http://deckbox.org/help/tooltips.

Re: Wordpress plugin

WordPress plugin updated to version 2.0! Now supporting deck tags, that generate nice deck listings.

More details on the official page: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mag … -tooltips/

The first version of the WoW plugin is here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wor … -tooltips/. It too will be upgraded to support deck listings soon.

Re: Wordpress plugin

Just tried this plugin out for the first time and it is great.  One piece that would be nice would be a view from deck's that allows us to quickly export a [mtg_deck] list by card type.  The current print view get's close but a quick way to export a deck from deckbox.org to post into a blog would be nice smile.

Re: Wordpress plugin

Just tried this plugin out on my blog which runs the latest version of the CMS, and it doesn't seem to be working. Is the plugin still being maintained?

Re: Wordpress plugin

Yep, I can take a look at it and see why it's not working. Will post back after testing.

Re: Wordpress plugin

Any news on the plugin? Looks like it's not updated past WP 3.5.2 (currently, WP is in 4.3.1).

Requires: 2.8.6 or higher
Compatible up to: 3.5.2
Last Updated: 2013-10-30

Re: Wordpress plugin

Yep, I bumped the version now, and fixed a header inconsistency. Should work, I tested on 4.3.1.

Thank you!

Re: Wordpress plugin

Just noticed something strange with the plugin I believe is unintended/a bug: the WP role of contributor usually doesn't have access to plugin setting. For some reason, the setting for this plugin is accessible for contributors. I guess that's an oversight?

(Couldn't find a GitHub or similar for the plugin so posting about it here.)
