Come play in our first Warhammer Invasion Tournament

You don't have to have cards or know how to play. This tournament is geared toward new players to get cards in their hands.

We will be buying a core set and one of every deluxe expansion. Each player will be assigned a race and all cards from each expansion that go along with that race. We will then draft the neutral cards(drafting will most likely involve a bidding system using the core set draft cards as currency).

When the tournament is over you will get to keep the cards you play with! This is a great way for a new player to jump into the game, giving you all the cards you need for a complete race from all the expensive sets so you can jump right into building your collection with the less expensive battle packs.

Below is a list of all the sets we will buy(Note if more than 6 players sign up we will buy more Core sets and Assault on Ulthuan's to cover the added players.):

Divided by 6 players(the minimum)......$26.30 each with tax included(price may vary slightly depending on the total number of players*)

Prizes:

1st place = $15 in store credit

2nd place = $5 in store credit

*Price won't be that variable. We want to keep it as close to $25 a possible.

We will simply add on Assault on Ulthuan(elf set) and Core sets as needed.

Example(tax included):

7-8 players:
We will buy,2 Assault on Ulthuan and 1 core set
$23.85(8p) - $27.25(7p) each

9-10 players:
We will buy, 1 Assault on Ulthuan and 2 core sets
$20.20(10p) - $22.40(9p) each

11 players
We will buy, 2 Assault on Ulthuan and 2 core sets
$21.20(11p) each

12 Players:
We double everything(march of the damned and legends included)
$26.30(12p) each

We've been talking about different ways to draft and I think we've come up with an easy way.

We are going to pass out the 6 base race cards to everyone(randomly unless your really want a particular race and we will do what we can). We will then shuffle all neutral cards together and place them into packs of 15 and draft them Magic style.
