Well, there's not much to tell right now, but...
The kor and the merfolks have each one of them a triad of gods, and each one of them calls them by different names:
for Kor: Kamsa, the goddess of the wind, Mangeni, god of the sea, Talib, the god of the earth.
for Merfolks they are: Ula, god of the sea, Emeria, goddess of the sky and Cosi, the trickster god, for earth
these names also appear on some of the cards Cosi's Trickster or Iona, Shield of Emeria
Now that the names of the tree eldrazi kings have been revealed, it's quite obvious that the merfolks and the kor were actually worshipping the memories of some eldrazi monstrosities (out of fear, awe or misinterpretation.. who knows? ).
Names passed from generation to generation, slowly transformed so that:
- Kozilek, Butcher of Truth became Cosi
- Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre became Ula
- Emrakul, the Aeons Torn became Emeria
I wonder if Archon of Redemption really knows in whose name is raising that sword
