Return to Ravnica Draft - November 2012

Columbia area MtG players,

We're trying to put together a RtR draft with prize support that will make things fun and affordable for everyone. Cost is $15 assuming (8) players. Players will draft a 40-card deck with an optional sideboard of your remaining drafted cards. A land box will be available but everyone is encouraged to bring their own land so that you can keep your deck intact at the conclusion of the tournament. Packs will be awarded to the Top 4:

1st Place - 6 packs
2nd Place - 3 packs
3rd Place - 2 packs
4th Place - 1 pack

We're also asking everyone who participates to bring (2) uncommons from the current standard block (Dark Ascension, Innistrad, Avacyn Restored, M13, Return to Ravnica) to donate to the prize pool. 5th through 8th place will get their choice of (4) uncommons to keep from this pool with 5th selecting first and so on by order in which each player finishes.

Players will be responsible for reporting their results to the tournament organizer at the end of each round. Every player is guaranteed to play at least 3 rounds. Top 4 will be determined by standings and will face off in an elimination bracket. Remember to bring life counters and/or a pencil and paper to take notes. You may want to bring an extra deck to play during the down time between rounds as well as your trade binder for swapping with other players.

Draft will be held at a location to be determined. We will try to find a place that is convenient for everyone participating. If you would be interested in playing, please reply to this thread.
