Is there something or someone I should contact about getting added? I requested a few days ago and it is still pending, I tried searching on the mtg subreddit and didn't see anything.

It was pretty quick for me. I imagine a mod will come along shortly and help you out!

People are probably added once a week or so. I was added ~5 days after requesting to join.
