Topic: Magic Collection for Sale

I have categorized my friend's magic collection for him in excel format. Please message me offers if you are interested. I used prices based on the TCGPlayer website here: http://magic.tcgplayer.com/magic_price_guides.asp

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

So you created an account here just to post your "friends" cards to sell for him. This doesn't smell fishy at all....

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

I usually sell DBZ cards, and he did not have time to categorize.  I enjoy separating, sorting, and listing cards in excel.  I don't know how selling my friend's collection is fishy.  I have over 430 feedback on ebay and 90 on the dbz ocg site.  If I don't get any bites here (for I have tried reddit and tcg player.com) I will just post  the lot on ebay.

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

The way the xls is set up is the literal dumbest way I've seen a collection posted. Why include a huge number of cards where the number owned is 0?

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

This is hilarious.

Thanks for looking guys!

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

Wouldn't it have just been easier to just list them in your inventory than make a spreadsheet?

I'll sometimes trade things in my Inventory. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I had already created the sheet before I found out about this site

It's actually possible to import a CSV file into this site fairly easily. You just need to arrange the columns in the spreadsheet correctly and remove the ones that don't belong (and then obviously turn it into a CSV).

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

Tried to go through it, but had to stop after the 6th page. There's no reason to list every single card for a set if he doesn't own any of them, not to mention it's hard to tell which set each tab represents.

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

Thanks for looking everyone!  I've actually received a few offers on the collection, and one from a local card shop...  It's quite simple to filter out the "0"s.  I don't feel like appeasing those not wanting to do it themselves.  Getting some pretty low offers, so I'm probably going to let the magic community fight it out on e bay.

Re: Magic Collection for Sale

not worth the time to go through that poorly written out spreadsheet to be honest.

No problem.  I wouldn't want to ship to Canadia anyways.  big_smile

I just wanted to remind everyone that it's in the community's best interest to be more encouraging towards new users who are not as familiar with the site. If your reply lacks constructive advice, consider keeping it to yourself as it helps no one.

CRISIS, I'm glad you've gotten some offers. You might get more offers if you do as asmodeanreborn suggested and fill out your inventory. Also, if you do list it on ebay, feel free to post a link here to help generate more interest. If you need any help with the site feel free to make a post here (http://deckbox.org/forum/viewforum.php?id=5). Welcome to the site!
