Topic: Illusionist's Bracers Ruling

I know Illusionist's Bracers says "Whenever an ability of equipped creature is activated, if it isn't a mana ability, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy." Would I be able to use this ability on Sliver Overlord's "Search your library for a sliver card."? It isn't targeting so I was pretty sure I can't use it like that. But if I can I want to use it so bad.
Thanks for the help!

I collect Requiem Angel and am always willing to take one in a trade.

Yes. The fetch is an activated ability (any ability with a cost (denoted by a colon) is an activated ability. Cost can be mana, tapping, life, saccing, etc) so it triggers the bracers causing 2 fetches for the price of one.
