I'm working on a standard deck to play at Friday Night Magic with, and was looking for any suggestions others might have. http://deckbox.org/sets/514412

The ideas of this deck are:
- Triggering Archangel of Thune's Lifegain ability as much as possible (Path of Bravery, Double Strike/Lifelink creatures)
- Using a high number of enchantments & to both boost up creatures in a short amount of time (Ethereal Armor) and hold off attacks (Sphere of Safety)
- Taking advantage of lifegain-triggered cards (Angelic Accord, Path of Bravery)

My experience so far with the deck is that while it can be extremely fast, I also have to let the other player's deck run its course. I don't really have any removal that can stop a player from getting their combo out. It hasn't been too much of a problem against beatdown decks because of the lifegain and the spheres of safety to fall back on, but it also makes it weak against control and burn decks.

I added a few possible solutions to my sideboard, but welcome any thoughts :)

you're running alot of high cost cards without a good way to last to get them really IMO. I would right off the bat swap the sphere of safety for 4 Brave the Elements, its an amazing card.

Look into Soldier of the Pantheon (Even gains life!) and Fabled Hero (Double Strike).
