In the advanced card add tab, there is no empty option in the dropdowns for edition, condition, and language. So for instance it is impossible for me to add just the edition without also having to set the condition and language to something even though those last two options are too granular for my tracking purposes.

I understand why this could be a problem for some people. We will probably add an empty option to the dropdowns, but we will keep the selection as it is now, pointing at a default selected value. The point of the advanced insert was also to help people insert extended information with default values.

That is fine. As it is now, adding them normally and going into the details to set the edition (one attribute) is actually less work than adding them advanced and going into the details to unset the language and condition (two attributes). :-)
