[Modern] UB Zombies (w/Mortarpod?)

This is a slightly reworked deck from when I played in Standard. I liked it and was wondering if it could still be viable in friendly Modern (I know I'm not winning any awards using a Standard deck in Modern). Back when I used it, there were a couple Liliana of the Veils but I never knew what to do with them. Sideboard was something like corrosive gale that I never used, surgical extraction and maybe vapor snag? Talon of pain is something I had that thought might work well here depending on semantics (drop geralf, enters battlefield triggers, source, mortarpod geralf, source, diregraf captain(s) trigger, source(s), geralf undies, triggers, source?) Is this deck even remotely competitive? Can it be without spending an arm and a leg on it?
