Pre-Build Analysis: As it turns out, I'm not mathematically eliminated yet. But, two things that need to happen are an upset over Phil, and another key match this week or next ending in an upset. I should be able to avoid losses to Joe and Steve, as long as my mana troubles don't repeat. Just took another look at my pool to discover I've got a theoretical Mono Red; not good enough on its own, but its enough that I probably should have considered it last week.
The Deck: Clearly, anything in RBx is heavily advantaged in the format; only thing that can stop RW apparently, so I was worried about the wrong deck earlier. Grixis gains me card advantage and keeps Silumgar in the fray; trying that. (Got lazy afterwards, forget exactly what I had. Essentially, the Week 10 deck minus Nantuko Husk and Despoiler of Souls; I forget what I cut for those.)
Post-Match Analysis: Caught a grin from Phil when I mentioned I'd just switched from Esper; might have been a better match-up for his weird Simic deck, don't know. Then again, being beat by the best limited player in the room wasn't a surprise to anyone.
