Look at my Esper Control deck. I think what you are building towards is more like that deck.  May be that you need cards to do it.  But few creatures that become lethal once you control the board.

I looked at your Esper Control deck earlier this evening, and it did look very familiar! :)  I had started to head that direction a few weeks ago but then decided to start phasing out dragons. I'm considering adding Narset Transcendent. Is there anything you can think ofthat would make it a bad addition?

It is good.  But I think most control decks would rather have more counterspells/draw cards to keep the game in their favor rather than cast that and use up a lot of mana.  One instant cast Dig at end of opponents turn is like Narset x 2 for a delve card.  I have never played with Narset though.

If I "were you" I would look at the 2 planar outbursts and 2 radiant flames main deck.  They probably clog your hand sometimes.  I would rather at most like 2 planar outbursts and more Dig through time, trasure cruise, or painful truths.  You probably never cast ulamog or use 4 Utter ends looking at sideboard.  I would take those 3 out and put arashin cleric for aggro matchup.

Also I would take radiant flames and put on sideboard and bring in the counterspells(Dispel/Scatter).  Side it in if your playing aggro.
