SO MANY SQUIRRELS!!! These squirrels forgot to stock up for winter, so they decided to feast on the flesh of their enemies!! Meren merely took advantage of the situation to point the squirrels at her own enemies instead.

Meren of Clan Nel Toth is rapidly making her way into my favorite commander slot. There is tons of value to be had here in a deck that is just a blast to pilot. I am constantly working to upgrade and tune this deck.

The deck is broken down based on cards primary functions in my particular build. It is important to note that many of these cards serve additional purposes as well. Both Vraska the Unseen and Liliana Vess have alternative win conditions in the form of their ultimates. Altar of Dementia serves perfectly as both a mill and sacrifice outlet. Many of my utility spells like tutors, answers, and even ramp function as self-sacrifice or a single use sacrifice outlet.

Ultimately the deck intends to win by going infinite with either Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest or Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion . I can also mill my opponents out moderately quickly by utilizing Altar of Dementia and either Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or Nighthowler. Vraska the Unseen and Liliana Vess unchecked can also get the job done themselves.
