ikachu MTG - Modern Burn Decklist and Sideboard Guide February 2019  Creating MTG content like this guide and my YouTube videos, which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/nikachumtg, are things I do for fun as I really enjoy interacting with others in the MTG community.   It is somewhat helpful that most of the hate cards against Burn can be predicted based on the opposing deck, but do not feel as though you MUST do exactly as the guide says 100% of the time. This list is designed to be playable in an open environment against a multitude of Modern threats. If your opponent plays a card you did not expect and you have no answer or you know there are lots of people playing one specific deck at your LGS it may in fact help you to include more cards for that matchup.   With all that said, GOOD LUCK! I am confident this list will help you (Lava) spike your next event!     Modern RW Burn Decklist February 2019   Lands (19):  10 Fetchlands (Any combination, but more variety is better, as long as they can fetch mountains. Using Windswept Heath is a viable budget option.)  4 Inspiring Vantage  3 Mountain  2 Sacred Foundry     I feel like I am seeing an increase in aggressive Red decks like Burn online, so I am now using 4 Inspiring Vantage. In general I still prefer 3 of each so if there is a fair amount of control or other decks using Ghost Quarter and/or Field of Ruin in your meta and fewer Burn decks I would (-1 Vantage and +1 Foundry)     Creatures (13): 4 Goblin Guide 4 Monastery Swiftspear 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel 1 Grim Lavamancer    Instants/Sorceries (28): 4 Lightning Bolt 4 Lava Spike 4 Searing Blaze 4 Lightning Helix 4 Boros Charm 4 Rift Bolt 4 Skewer the Critics    Sideboard (15): 4 Skullcrack 3 Smash to Smithereens 3 Path to Exile 2 Rending Volley 2 Rest in Peace *1 Deflecting Palm*   *This last SB slot was hard for me to decide on.
