How it Works
With Death Pits in play, put the Viridian Longbow on the Soul Collector
Plus, the Mephidross Vamp adds fun to the pinger's Curiosity combo, as well as the Magewright stone letting them do it again.

I envision needing a multi, or at least three player (possibly Melee) setting for this to be given enough time to go off...
