Notes

Version 2.0 of Jund color combination in the strategy of creating and maintaining Board Advantage. Tested at FNM on 12/15/2012.

Deck Strategy: Built to win in five turns via aggressive creature drops, and removal of obstacles on the battlefield with burn and/or spot removal.  Hitting the three and four drops on those respective turns is particularly crucial.  Rakdos's Return and Slaughter Games included to hopefully avoid mass removal.

Match Record: 2-2
Game Record: 4-4

Matchup/Record

Match 1: Blue/White/(Red?) Control, 0-2
-although the deck developed properly and was able to apply sufficient pressure needed for a win, the opponent used a combo of azorius charm and snapcaster mage to negate almost all combat damage.  Sphinx's revelation was used in late game to provide a crippling card disadvantage as well as providing crucial lifegain.

Match 2: Mono-Black Zombies, 2-0
          - Opponent's deck seemed poorly built, was mana screwed both games (and in subsequent casual games).  2.0 developed properly and both games weren't close.

Match 3: Blue/Red/White Control 0-2
          - Opponent played a ramp-style control deck.  Both games were  close, with the opponent below five health before recovering with mass removal combined with sphinx's revelation.

Match 4: Izzet 2-0
-Opponent's deck produced very little threats and countered nothing.  Not much is known about it's construction.  Match was over in ten minutes.

Conclusion: Overall, Jund 2.0 worked as intended, developing quickly and aggressively, used massive board advantage to put pressure on the opponent.  unfortunately it remains weak against mass removal, and if the game lasts longer than seven or eight turns 2.0 tends to succomb to growing card disadvantage.  It will reliably tear apart poorly built decks, but lacks the reach to finish the job against well built control decks.
