Curves out pretty early, with an eye to playing cheap cards late game with mass exort due to the shade's mana acceleration.

That mana can also be funnelled toward's Gateway shade, which this deck probably needs 4 of or the whole subplot removed. They would work a lot better if there were the full four and Basillica's Blessing or something gave them flying/lifelink. Hesitant to run the blessing since most cards fly already and it's too expensive for lifelink alone.

Loss conditions - Trample (needs steel wall), Exort cards have all died blocking, I get into a situation without blockers, leaving me unable to utilise any of the deck's kill spells.

How the deck could be fixed; cut half guildmages, pets, throw in shades and Basilica gift.

[Do guildmages make basillica's gift kind obsolete? Surely there's a cheaper W/1W aura that gives flying and +1+1...]

Replace Smite with Terror or even Murder, makes the deck less reliant on blocking.

Replaced Thrull parasite with dutiful thrull to manage aggression.
