Misc trades:
Too many single-target removal, not enough board wipes, so:
- Trading Nemesis Trap (4BB, exile one creature) for Ichor Explosion (5BB, sacrifice creature, all creatures get -X/-X).
- Trading Grisly Ritual (5B, destroy one creature, create two blood tokens) for Necromantic Selection (4BBB, destroy all creatures, put one on my side of the field).
- Trading Orchard Strider for Ayara, First of Locthwain to bring down curve and add some card draw.
Not enough ramp, so:
- Traded Fierce Witchstalker for Leafkin Druid (bring the curve down)
- Trading two basic lands for Fabled Passage, Evolving Wilds
Notes from playtesting:
- Mana curve is way too heavy, and there's not enough ramp to really get going. Removed Gravewaker, added Sol Ring, Arcane Signet.
- Giant's Skewer is a nice idea, but since I'm not getting attacks in yet, it's not doing me much good. Cut it.
- Flaxen Intruder creature isn't great, sorcery is too expensive. Cut it.
- Dying to Serve is terrible, unless I can include a discard theme. Cut it.
- Moldervine Reclamation was excellent, great source of card draw and life.
- Cabal Coffers is good, but only if I can get basic lands out onto the field. Need to add some basic land ramp in green (Grow from the Ashes, Circuitous Route)
- Fae Offering would be great if I can consistently cast two spells per turn, but I'm not quite there yet. Cut it.
- Definitely add in a bunch of lands that can tap for black or green, added 6 of those, cut 6 basics.
