    If you take our the black here, I think adding in grim lavamancer and perhaps ball lightning would really be best. Also, Magma jet is widely held as a must-have for burn decks, so you may want to replace Lava Spike with it.

        Huh.  Shaman is a more expensive and less versatile version of grim lavamancer in my opinion, is it really just for bump in the night?  Dunno, I guess with a hideously expensive manabase you could do it, but didn't sam want cheap and good?

          I said it might be beneficial to cut the black as well.  I think running straight RDW might be more cost effective/overall effective.

              Personally I would still run 4 Arid Mesa, but would throw in Teetering Peaks as well.

                Eh, there's no need for stuff like that unless you really have money to burn, especially if he's looking to include shard volley.  Sure it'd make it slightly more consistent but hey, that's like 100 dollars later..
