Good opening hand can mean first turn win. Win condition: play Channel, spend 19 life, cast fireball for 20. Cantrips, skullclamp, and mana acceleration allow almost half the deck to be drawn in just a few turns. Once the combo "goes off", it's an almost guaranteed win. Against heavy blue control with lots of countermagic, Red Elemental Blast and Guttural Response can be sideboarded in. Healing Leaves can be used as a safety net against a bolt at your face after spending all your life on channel.
