Cards in the scratchpad represent cards that you are considering for this deck, but are not actually in the built deck. They do not count towards the in built decks count shown in your inventory. If you are using the Auto Trade feature, they will be still be marked for trade although cards in your main deck and sideboard will not.

Notes

A deck meant to counteract against my friend Theo's playgroup, which involves each player being able to play as many lands as they want each turn. This deck will make this house rule super lame, and that is by design, because that rule is stupid.

The plan is simple, keep a hand of 7 lands, mulligan if otherwise. If you happen to draw a nonland card on turn 1, cry. Chances are you won't, and when that happens, play all 8 lands from your hand and cast Maelstrom Wanderer, which will cascade twice. First cascade will hit either Risen Reef or Zendikar's Roil and the second will hit the other. The ETB of Risen or Maelstrom will trigger Risen, which will reveal the top card of your deck, which is guaranteed to be a land. Put it on the field, which triggers Roil. The elemental token will enter, triggering Risen, and profit. Make as many tokens as necessary to get past your opponent's blockers, and use that nifty haste effect from Maelstrom Wanderer to swing immediately.

I hate this concept of a house rule, and I will use this deck every single time until they decide to not have this rule at the table.
