The point of this deck is to fuel the Shades. Whispering Shade becomes unblockable when Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth enters the battlefield.

Of course, I can also get a 20/20 on turn 2 or 3 by combining Dark Depths with Vampire Hexmage.

Life's Finale kills everything while allowing Korlash and Will-o'-the-Wisp to regenerate.
