    If you're gonna do this, why not just go straight BG without any splash, run some Everflowing Chalices with some proliferate, ramp into big Exsanguinates while controlling the board with Black Sun's. I like the idea... but I'm not sure where you're going with it.

    ummm, creatures are questionable, khalni gem is for landfall, how are you gunna garuntee the green land you need early?

      I'm planning to get at least one Sphere of the Suns. I've seen it work well in pro decks(I'm aware it was a PRO deck) and provides decent mana ramp.
