This is not a competitive deck, it's just supposed to be for fun. The goal is to slow down the early game and play a few creatures that trigger evolve. Then on turn five play prophet of kruphix and then on opponents turn play the hydra. The hydra does work on its own. Biomass mutation is pretty effective in this deck because most of the creatures rely on getting +1/+1 counters to beef them up.
