Notes

As the winner of the 2012 Standard Pauper Challenge on the backs of such monstrosities as Porcelain Legionnaire and Loyal Cathar  Flip , I had high hopes that TTV would place well. As perhaps the only White deck without Ethereal Armor in the entire challenge, this deck proved that creature-pumping was superfluous and just playing a fat creature was good enough. Only about half the games won by this deck were with a Nessian Asp going big in lieu of going home. The other half were won simply with a 3/3 army of Centaurs using Gods Willing to get through tough spots. An Akroan Crusader can bring a 3/1 army to the battlefield with Dynacharge , but the Centaurs show up to the party buffed already and bring some life-gain with them. Many games, this deck would rescue itself just by casting Nylea's Disciple once or twice and stabilizing from out of nowhere.
