I mainly want to improve the consistency of this deck, with that I mean I want to be able to always start sacrificing my Newt with a witch on the board without being already cornered from a semi-fast to slow-ish deck. I've looked for cards which can maybe improve this deck, but I'm still new to Magic and I really want to make this deck better. Comment Ideas or reply in the reddit thread:

Keep my limited budget in mind, but dont hesitate to suggest more expensive cards. I already thought about Obzedat, the one which resummons itself everyturn and deals 2 damage for 1/2B/2W, but I dont really like that.
Generally I think losing health is not that big of a problem, having cauldron's and stuff.

Pestilence  //High Priest of Penance Synergy,Boardclear
Phyrexian Arena  //again drawing into stuff
Read the Bones  //Scry and draw into Combo
Viscera Seer  //Sacrifice and Scry, Synergy?
Night's Whisper  //draw into combo
Athreos, God of Passage  //nice Synergy IMO
Skirsdag High Priest  //Flying, alternate wincon maybe?
