Let's think of some cheap ass creatures to glomp a Lashwrithe onto:
-Child Of Night or Markov Patrician: Both Lifelinky goodness!
-Vault Skirge,Flensermite or Plague Stinger: The moderating alternating trio of Flying, Infect and Lifelink; pick your choice!
-Reassembling Skeleton: If the opponent doesn't have much artifact removal, this guy will stick around to cause some pain
-Tormented Soul: Have fun blocking that
-Mortis Dogs- Awkwardly the same CMC, but very funny!
....why do I bother? Just slap it on your Phyrexian Obliterators and be on your way!

I was thinking flying
This is a comment I ripped right from gatherer's discussionon lashwrithe from back in 2011 and if you note it includes some flyers including one that is better than the one included in your deck because it can drop turn one for a bit of life
