User Bio
Hi from Minnesota!
The brother-in-law (and friend!) introduced me to Magic about 2 years ago. I was a baseball card collector as a kid and I do remember buying some Magic cards and trading them with a friend in the neighborhood back in the day. After learning that my (at the time) future-bro-in-law played Magic, I went back through old boxes and found just a handful of old cards. Once I gave in and let him teach me how to play, I was hooked. Who says a guy in his 30's can't have a new hobby?
Since I only started collecting/playing a short time ago, my available for trade list will most likely only include Innistrad - Current.
I play Commander and sealed draft with friends almost exclusively, but I am leaning towards building modern decks.
I collect the cards as well, with the goal of having a playset for each card going forward (Innistrad and later). (Now I'm working backwards too!)
Now, on to the nitty gritty:
For now, I do not trade for foils, foreign language, signed, or anything outside of regular editions (i.e. dual decks). There may be exceptions to this in the future, but I will inititate that trade. Promos should be on my wishlist.
I expect cards to be Near Mint/Light Play unless documented otherwise. You should have the same expectation of me. I understand that older cards will have some wear. I only ask that you let me know ahead of time (usually it's no big deal, I just like to know!).
Since I collect playsets, the edition of the card is very important. I will double check to make sure the editions I have match, please do the same on your end too!
Smaller trades will be sent in sleeves/top loaders and an envelope. Large trades I will always ship in a bubble mailer with protective sleeves/top loaders. All large trades from me will include tracking numbers unless discussed otherwise. I hope you will do the same.
I like trades larger than $15 due to shipping/tracking costs.
I expect to pay an additional 10-15% premium for down trades.
If you need commons/uncommons from Standard, please ask!
I look forward to trading with you all!
