I played Magic, when it was first released, or very close to that time.  I saw the potential of a fun game, but didn't really get it.  I have no idea what ever happened to my first cards.

Fast forward (how many years?) and I have a renewed interest.  I actually get it now, and my 9 year old daughter also loves the game.  So, we're starting fresh with the 2013 set, along with Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash.

I'm still new to building decks, and thus far have only worked with the premade boxed decks.  But, am using those to jump off and look at how I would do it from the ground up.  Any and all feedback is welcome, even if it's to say, "You're an idiot.. do you really think that would work?"  LOL, it's all good.

My daughter and I are going to a Friday Night Magic event, probably next week, so we can see how real players do it, lol.
