User Bio
This is a "shared account" for my boyfriend and I ["shared" because I'm probably the only one who will actually log in and input cards, do work, etc.], so the cards and decks we have on this account are shared and created between us. As a couple that loves Magic cards very, very much, we plan on expanding our collection in the masses. I myself hope to join in on events and Friday Night Magic gatherings as well as local tourneys.
In trying to attain our personal decks, we look forward to trading, buying, and selling from numerous people and stores as well as playing against people from different places. We hope to expand on strategies and cards alike.
FOR TRADES
Any card we are willing to trade [or sell] will be given a "Tradelist" mark. All cards in the Tradelist are available if you can name the right offer—look in the Wishlist [or better yet, the project list bellow] to see what will butter us up for a trade. Please do NOT ask for cards that don't have a Tradelist number because we will NOT be trading them.
Cards in the “Newest Purchases” deck may not have trade numbers simply because we haven't had the time or chance to really look through them yet. In any case, any other card without a trade number probably either isn't going to be given up or simply hasn't been determined if we're going to trade it or not yet. Check back every now and then as we'll be updating what's for trade and what's not.
Note: anything to help out on the projects below will be better for trades:
BIG PROJECTS
For now, our big projects include decks for each Ravnican guild [Azorius, Boros, Dimir, Golgari, Gruul, Izzet, Orzhov, Rakdos, Selesnya, and Simic] and personal preference decks [such as angels, saporlings, scarecrows, and hydras]. Though most guild-based decks boast cards of the guild's colours, our deck will only feature cards with the guild's symbol watermarked in the description. For example, a blue/white card without an Azorius watermark will NOT be accepted into the Azorius guild's deck. For the other decks, however, there is no limit as long as they match with our personal themes and preferences.
Angel's Rise {w}—only angel creatures and white spells will fill this deck, flavoured here and there with the occasional artifact. As this is more of a collection deck than a playing deck, it will be rather large and lopsided.
The Lonely Scarecrow {all colours/colourless}**—my personal obsession and the reason for this account's username. This deck will feature only “artifact creature – scarecrow” cards and artifacts.
The Guild Pact: Ravnica's Ten Guilds {all colours}—my massive undertaking; this set will feature ten decks, each for one of the ten guilds of Ravnica. The decks hold cards with the colours of the guild they represent, and only cards with the guild's watermark will be accepted into the ranks. In addition, they each bear their respective guildgates, keyrunes, signets, and other guild-based treasures that may be useful when representing each guild. The guilds are as follows:
Azorius Senate*
Boros Legion
House Dimir
Golgari Swarm
Gruul Clans**
Izzet League
Orzhov Syndicate
Cult of Rakdos
Selesnya Conclave
Simic Comine
SMALL PROJECTS
Some things we're working on in between larger projects, such as small decks and casual collections.
The Myr Project—a deck built around Myr creatures
[Spirits Deck] {wht/blk/blu}—a tri-colour deck centered on Spirit creatures
[Artifact Deck] {all colours/colourless}*—this deck is all about artifacts [as I seem to be gaining a larger obsession with them as the days wear on]. Not only are the spells all artifacts, but so are the creatures. The creatures hail from four categories: Golem, construct, arcbound, and Myr [Myr here are to be moved to “The Myr Project” deck when it's near completion] and help buff one another. My personal favorite card, “Arcbound Wanderer”, is also featured in this deck [but of course it's through a proxy so the original can rest in a nice, comfy sleeve <3].
Centaur Triple-Horde {grn/wht}*—featuring triples of everything but the lands it feeds from, this deck holds a collection of centaurs and 3/3 centaur tokens.
Vedalken Tribes—there's not much to say about this deck; I have yet to really plan it, but I know it will have Vedalken creatures in its masses.
* = finished decks
** = majour work [anything for this is preferable over other things]
