In my opinion, near mint doesn't exist and trading poor cards is silly. (Unless you really, really, really want it)

Card conditions are as follows:

Mint - Excellent shape, no wear, fading, rub marks, tears, folds, etc.

Good - Minor wear, rub marks, some fading. No tears, folds, or major damage.
