User Bio
I started playing in 4th edition and stayed in until Future Sight. I then dabbled rarely up until Eldritch Moon. Because of this, I'm missing a lot of Modern material and that's where (I think?) I'm focusing most of my trading.
Most of my card grades are slightly more strict than Deckbox's description. If you see a card you want at a grade below what you want, check my descriptions below to see if there's still a chance. If you have a trade that you think I might actually want, just ask, I can upload pictures. If there's a card with wear on it, I will probably go back and review the condition before I finalize a trade with it.
I'm very picky about condition and, on general principle, will never mark a card as Mint. Truly "mint condition" is a very particular and very demanding definition.
Basically every card will be marked as Near Mint if there is no visible wear on the card. I might allow a very, *very* slight speck that you really need to look for in a reflection but even that makes me uncomfortable unless it really is hard to spot.
Any card that requires using a reflected light to see the imperfection on or has a tiny edge nick that disappears to the visible eye once you put a protector on it counts as "good" in my book. These are going to look NM until you pull them out of a sleeve and go hunting for problems.
I will tag anything as "Played" that has an ordinary, visible edge nick or has flaws in the gloss that don't interfere with the card appearance. A lot of my older cards may fall into this pile. I was a kid and card sleeves weren't as common; deal with it. =P
I might have some "heavily played" or even "poor" quality cards but I'm not likely to ever put them on a trade list. I might mention them as an option if they're on your wishlist but I'll be clear about their condition.
