Hesitant to do trades where the total card value is less than $10.

People that only trade up or only do trades that are favorable to them, I prefer trades that are even (similar card values on each side).  If you're trading down (I define as all the cards on one side are less than half the value of the biggest value card on the other side), I'll probably extend you an extra 10% or so of value.  I would expect a similar courtesy.

On older cards I will remind you to double-check their condition (https://deckbox.org/help/card_conditions), I don't need NM, but I'm not trading for them at NM value.  Will check TCG market value at that condition since there's a wider gap between NM and not NM on older cards.  I'll gladly take HP sleeve playable cards (no water damage or major creases), at their appropriate value.
