Notes

Like my other ultra-budget decks, Ultra-budget: Heroes of the Hollow, Ultra-budget: Baby's First Burning Legion, Ultra-budget: Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Ultra-budget: Midnight Onslaught and Ultra-budget: Baby's First Burning Legion, this deck is designed to be a super cheap good time. It runs about $15 US for everything. If you play MTGO, the deck costs a single Ticket excluding the basic lands.

If you don't care to read on, here's how you alienate all your friends:

Darksteel Relic + Phylactery Lich + Gruesome Deformity + Worldslayer.

OR

The above mentioned combo with any creature + Undying Evil.

OR

Phylactery Lich + Inquisitor's Flail + Gruesome Deformity for an indestructible, unblockable creature swinging for 10 on turn 4. Equip a second Inquisitor's Flail turn 5 and he's swinging for 20 unblockable.

(You can sub Prowler's Helm in for Gruesome Deformity in any of those combos as well.)

(Pictured: Phylactery Lich + Prowler's Helm + Worldslayer + Inquisitor's Flail)

This isn't a super competitive deck compared to some of the other budget decks I've made of late. But the gimmick is so cool and the deck is such a blast to play casually that I decided to post it up here. I got the idea, obviously, based on the picture above.

Basically, you're trying to achieve the combo listed above. If the card draw gods aren't on your side, you can use Vault Skirge and Vampire Nighthawk with the equipment to lay on some heavy pressure early (if you're running it, a turn 1 Vampire Nighthawk with Dark Ritual is table-flip worthy) and get some extra life at the same time. With Gruesome Deformity , even Brass Squire is a formidable threat with some equipment attached.

Note: If you don't care about the deck being Modern legal, you can add Dark Ritual for some serious table-flipping shenanigans.
