Thanks! I've recently updated this deck and haven't gotten to play with some of the newer additions (Gray Merchant, Liliana's Reaver) but it's got great synergy that can run the table if the other players let it. Once opponents realize how easy it is for this deck to kill and steal creatures, they typically hesitate enough that I'm able to get something good going without getting overrun by some of the bigger creatures folks run.
Altar of Shadows is clunky enough that I've found people who are unfamiliar with it are willing to let it sit for a couple of rounds. Urborg Justice catches a lot of people off-guard since the deck doesn't do much at instant speed outside of activated abilities. Corpse Harvester is the real workhorse of the deck and helps get a critical land mass. Lim-Dul doesn't see play until there's enough mana to cast and then activate him a few times to either save key parts of the recursion engine or steal some juicy creatures in the event of a board wipe.
Overall, the deck can be oppressive to creature-based strategies, but as long as people have common Commander tools (i.e. graveyard hate, enchantment removal) to break up the engines, it doesn't dominate the board. The deck won't win out of nowhere, but it can win.
I had been toying with the idea of building a zombie deck as I am partial to tribal. I originally set out to do sedris the traitor king. Using the grixis CIP effects. I like to browse what other people have done and then evaluate what I might like to do. Your deck has made me want to evaluate building mono black, which I don't have yet in my EDH library.
My most efficient deck is krenko EDH. It gets lots of wins. Check it out I would be interested in your thoughts.
I really like the way this deck looks.
how has it done for you on the table?
