I'm pretty darn happy with this list right now.  I just need to play it against more decks.

There's a two-turn single player kill in there.  Leyline in opening hand, first turn Ancient Tomb into Sol Ring, second turn land, tap for 5, play and use Helm of Obedience, exile target player's library.  I actually came close to this my first time playing this list.  No Sol Ring so it was a 3 turn kill, but still.

Makes pretty big use of the quirky use of the stack where you tap Merieke, put her ability on the stack, put an untap ability on top of that, let the untap resolve and then tap again to have her ability on the stack twice.  They both resolve and you steal two creatures that don't get (immediately) destroyed.  Gets even more nuts with Pemmin's Aura.

So the way this plays is early flying deathtouch creatures and 1-1 removal and counters to stay alive in the early game.  Ramp with artifacts, double mana lands, and potentially Mana Drain to play into a big threat or a combo.

Combos and Finishing plays are:
Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood + source of damage or lifegain, kills whole table
Leyline of the Void + Helm of Obedience
Academy Ruins + Mindslaver
Mana Drain + Kozilek + (optional) Swiftfoot Boots
Merieke + Pemmin's Aura
Rite of Replication + a few options, even Vampire Nighthawk can be really powerful.  6 Sphinx of the Steel Winds is ugly.
