The Bident of Thassa doesn't seem like it'll do a lot of work here. You don't have a lot of combat damage going on, exceot when you kill the person in two hits with a giant squid. Perhaps replace it with card draw, library manipulation, or removal?

Yeah, I know. I'm honestly not sure how serious I am with this deck, but the big reason it's there at the moment is becaues, you know, it's Thassa's monsters. More than any of the other decks, this one is kind of telling a story. I'm not sure how important that actually is, but that's the fun of this deck.

I mean, that's also why the Omenspeaker is there - mini early blocker plus "foretelling" of Thassa's creatures. I know that the bident doesn't really help as much as it should, but I'm loathe to drop it down below two. I'd be more inclined to remove it and the Clones and replace them with some 3 casting cost creatures.

Ah, the theme. In that case, throw in some unblockables or fliers or something. May as well make it work for you, eh?

The art for Kraken of the Straits looks terrible. Geez.

You may like Quest for Ula's Temple, Kederekt Leviathan, and Cthulu, AKA Lorthos, the Tidemaker.

I was actually talking about Quest for Ula's Temple with a friend yesterday and was going to add it. Added that and the sea monsters and took out some lands, 2 counters and the kraken hatchlings (since there are plenty of cards to play for U now)
