I've commented on all the other decks, now this one.

Hmm... not sure what to say.

I don't like it. I guess that sums it up. Not saying its bad. Mono Green is bad. It just has a lot of cards that I don't like.

Seacoast drake (are the paladins truly that terrifying?)

Blood toll harpy (this deck doesn’t seem fast enough to need the 1 life loss)

Trained condor (what is he here to carry? Accursed spirit? Oh goody, intimidated flyers)

Accursed spirit (dreck… of course I play lifebane so this inherently seems awful)

Deathgaze cockatrice (I don’t like my creature control to require blocking)

Asphyxiate (ah crib death… I love this card but wouldn’t want it main in this deck)

Duress (in the sideboard is not the place for the 2nd most powerful turn 1 play)

Thoughtseize (the most powerful turn 1 play definitely doesn’t deserve to be here)

Seacost again (Yeah, it’s there for paladins with an extra in the side for?)

Liturgy of blood (What will you do with the 3B? Nothing?)

I realize that card pool and selection comes into play. I know that. I’m just critiquing decks and from last place so my opinion isn’t worth much anyway. I’m also going to critique MY deck so I’m being fair in my snark.

I like the idea of a fast B/U deck and I also like the idea of a BU flyers deck which is what I think this is. The problem with the flyers is that they don’t have many decent low cost creatures available outside of vaporkin. I think that because of that you should plan on using your removal/counters early and playing the flyers later.

I would add the duress/thoughtseize + some essence scatters for the early game. Voyages End is also a nice early play with the scry. Warden of evos isle seems like a must for a flyers deck. Nimbus Naiad would also be good offering you early or late game plays. Messenger drake might be a way to stabilize against faster decks. Maybe deathgaze isn’t that bad afterall.

My sideboard is legal as all get out.  The Seacoast Drake loves to block Paladins.  He is a two drop filler in a land of mediocre decisions.

Also what did you think of seacoast drake? He seems really bad. With as aggressive as the decks have been It doesn't seem a 1/3 is all that relevant in combat. Unless it's just there to block paladins.

Look at that illegal sideboard. For shame.
