It surprised you in its failure.

I expected its failure. :) But I assure you I was surprised at how easy it was to crush. A look of shock was surely upon my face as I ground my boot into its neck.

I assumed RG maindecking revelry with giant dudes. Sometimes you gotta mix things up though. This was the only deck that took me by surprise so you've got that going for you. :)

Also, I didn't think my green or white was strong enough alone, so three color it was.

Well, yeah, I probably shouldn't listen to anyone.  Thought behind the deck was to increase the big creatures, clog the board, and grind something out.  I was thinking about doing the end around on hexproof.  Also, the white artifact removal is really my only non-red artifact removal, so I only had so many choices.

I'm actually interested to know what the thought behind it was. Because it doesn't seem like it would be good against Alex's Whip deck either. This was all part of my master plan. Poisoning Moose's wife to get him out of the way and then bullying you into not playing your good cards so that I could get past you as well.

Well, I can tell you that it's not good against Mono-Black...
