I am very new to mtg, and I got a magic 2015 deck builders kit and a few singles I picked out. but I don't know what to do for a deck, like I said im a complete noob. im kinda wanting a white/black or white blue. but anything deck ideas, standard play will do, and any suggestions on what cards to get if im missing a couple, I want to keep it to cheap cards for now as im broke for the moment.

It would be hard to build a deck that is not just for casual play from your collection. But I think if you got the Khans event deck you could tweak it with cards in your collection to have a fairly decent deck.

Just using that link because it has the deck list. I'm guessing you could find it a bit cheaper right now.


My best advice is to find a mechanic or couple cards that you like that work well together and then start building around them. Good luck and have fun.

gynesis hydra and nykthos are about the 2 best cards you have that actually do something together... green stompy is an okay strategy. It's only competitive if you have all the cards though... but a casual version could be put together. Below are some ideas to work with.
