I'm thinking maybe this hornet deck would be fun to play. Death touch and forced combat? But again I have too many cards, where should I thin the deck down to 60? It's for our casual standard game, not even as intense as friday night magic.

From the look of your current build you're not really focused on the hornets as much as you're trying to do something with large toughness creatures. If you want to go hornets, then look for ways to really get them. Look at the Sidisi Whip decks that have been doing well for a while as a baseline to work from and then move out from there as you like.

As a side note, the fight effect cards you have are sub-optimal. You would be better suited with Savage Punch and Setessan Tactics to force fights with your Hornet Nests and the hornets generated. I would also suggest looking at Whip of Erebos as a means to get more hornets when you've milled the queen or if you need to recur the nest for another fight.

Ok I've modified the original slightly. I'm still worried about the lack of defense, and am not sure of Sibsig host is really the best fit for a 'put top x into graveyard' card, seems like a high cost. Still am tweaking the lands too.

If you're looking to put stuff in the yard, the two best bets are Satyr Wayfinder and Commune with the Gods.

If you are looking at keeping the wall idea as a def until you can get out the queen and whatnot, you might want to look into the new set, I think there is a card that let's creatures attack based on their toughness

Maybe morph with Temur War Shaman would be better than the graveyard plays? But keep the whips in there since the hornets nest and the queen will still die. And how about adding Roar of challenge or Mortals Resolve for indestructible. What do you think?

Here's what I was thinking, minus the lands. http://deckbox.org/sets/929628?v=v

I stripped it down again, and then added a couple new ones from Fate, and added the finishing move of overwhelm.
