It may be helpful to the staff if there was an upvote feature when someone makes a feature request.
Let's say a user has a feature in mind that another user also thinks would help improve the site. The other user could upvote the suggestion posted by the first user so the staff would know that it's not a specific request for one individual but rather other people feel this would be useful too. You could even take it a step further and code in that when the upvotes reach a certain number to send you an email or something so that you are made aware of it.
