Just an FYI, everyone - noticed this today, and while I've already messaged Sebi about it, thought I'd share as I thought it might be slowing up some trades:

I just noticed that (Specifically for Final Fantasy), wish- and want-lists aren't synching across profiles. For example, I have a Traveling Chocobo and a Summon:Bahamut on my tradelist. While looking at the want list of a fellow trader, I noticed that they had these two cards listed, without designated variants, but that they weren't showing up in the 'cards X Trader needs from you ' on the trade profile page. This is also causing inconsistency when using the 'Trading Opportunities' option in the left menubar.

So if there's something specific you're looking for, it might not hurt to actually take a look at the tradelists of traders you're interacting with, if you don't have a space like this one to ask them directly.

Just an FYI, Make sure you check your Local Targets. I stopped by one on my way home from hockey and this one had restocked the bundles @ 70 and Collector Boosters @ 44.99! It was limit 2 per customer so I only grabbed what I could. Im glad I did tho bc I pulled 450 worth of cards from them thanks to the Surge Foil Yuna, Grand Summoner in the one, that I think someone said they wanted ;)

Wish I wasn't between pay periods. Would love another crack at a Collector Booster.

Very nice. I pulled my Traveling Chocobo from a spare I bought from a friend, but local stores are already picked clean here in MA.

Weve been pretty cleaned out here in Texas, so far the only locations that still have Collector boosters are the LGS's that want 100$ a pack xD

Wondering if I should sit on my Surge foil Golbez for a bit or offload it now.

Main character Surges are absurdly priced right now, and Golbez has jumped from $20 to $80 since I pulled it.

Depending on if you want to get rid of it or not depends on whether you should get rid of it or not. I noticed my Jill jumped, my squall jumped, and even raubahn jumped. Looking at main character surges from fallout they kept going up, so Id honestly say hold it

Literally have only played a bit of Dirge of Cerberus, and that's all the FF game experience I have currently.

Yes. from my understanfding, hes pretty popular as well. another thing of note: the mythic surges are kind of plateauing so the rares are now gaining value as th ewhales are gobbling them up now. id say if youre thinking about selling it do it now

IV is considered one of the better mainline titles due to its cast of characters. I won’t spoil anything for you, but he’s set up to be a fearsome villain and morphs into a tragic character by the end. Early-era FF managed to do a lot with the hardware limitations at the time. It’s definitely worth a playthrough, especially if you have access to the Pixel Remaster collection.

My biggest issue with FF has always been that most of them are turn based and a vast majority of turn based games don't click with me, with the exception of Pokémon. I'm more action-RPG oriented, so Skyrim, Darksiders, Kingdoms of Amalur, etc.

However, I think Xbox has access to all the FF games now, along with getting 7 Remake this winter, so I may have to check them out if they go on sale.

IV was the first FF I played when it was released (Yea, I'm old), and legitimately has some of the best storytelling I've ever seen, then and now.
Golbez is a major character, and definitely one that's bound to hold value. The card itself is decent as well, so even in MTG circles, it'll hold value. I'd hold it for now - as previously stated, all of these main characters are rising.

You might like XVI. It's very action orientated, and takes a sharp turn from the turn-based combat of earlier FF's. For me it's a drawback (I prefer Turn-based), but the story and characters are so good I'm going to finish it.

I've got the demo downloaded, and I've been told VII Remake can also be made to be more action oriented.

I started with FF7 and to this day, it and Legend of Dragoon, were the only turn based style games that I really enjoyed.

If you like those types of games, the FF7 Remakes are def up your alley. There is "some" turn based game play to it but its more based on strategy (ie needing to use Barrett to shoot at flying enemy). You can def just run through tho as Cloud and do all the hack-and-slashy things.

So I know they are all cheaper, but is anyone interested in Japanese FF cards? I got 2 booster boxes and am putting the feelers out to see if people would be interested in them.

Apparently the Commander Party promos come in foil at premium stores. I've gotten them in nonfoil, but I'd love a foil Culling Ritual. They aren't on deckbox yet
