Hello, specifically what I am wondering is, is there a way to find the deck list I want (mainly referencing precons), copying the list, and adding it to my own inventory. Then, once that list has been added to my inventory, creating the deck, and importing the exact deck list I previously added to my inventory, to the deck, with it auto populating all the fields that I had selected to import in the beginning? It is very tedious to import a list, add it to inventory, create the deck, import a list, then select each card individually and add it. Thank you.

There used to be a thread where people would post CSVs of precons to make it easy to upload them, but that thread hasn’t been active in a while.

These days, I just copy a list from a website, paste it into Excel, and then make tweaks to work with Deckbox’s format.

This is something that I struggle with as well. It would be nice if the precon decks were just easily loadable to "add this precon deck to your Deck list" and "add all of this precon deck to your Inventory" as available choices, pulling from a master database of precon configurations or something.

What I notice often, is when searching the "All Decks" for other people who may have already built a precon here at Deckbox, they aren't always using the right versions of the cards, so it's pulling other expansions/sets into it as opposed to being "exactly" the cards / version #s / treatments (foil/non-foil, full art, etc) / rarities the prebuilt deck would have included, which then further messes things up that you have to then notice and correct card by card.

Just sharing some thoughts on this <3

I'm glad others can validate what I am experiencing frustration with. I Just added at least 80 decks and oooof. Do yall know if theres a way to get the programmer to comment on this?

The issue is finding a source from where I can reliably import the precons. I know some other websites have them available to some degree (like moxfield) - I'm not sure if they add them manually or if their users are submitting this information.

I have a hard time keeping up even with just the promos Wizards releases, as even when there is a solid source - gatherer, scryfall, etc - these things need to be manually double-checked. I do not think I actually have the time in the day to verify all the precons on each release. Of course it would be better to have a system where users can submit this information if they have it (or submit requests for correcting wrong precon lists) but I'd need to design and implement this reporting system...

It's on my todo list, just never got the time to actually start doing it. I'm open to feedback and suggestions in any case...
