When adding foils to a set list, I currently have to click each card, which opens a new window. I think have to Edit that card, then half of the time I am prompted to select All Printings or This Specific Printing. Once that selection is made, I have to create a new row, then add the card, then set it foil. Needless to say this is a VERY long and tedious process when you have hundreds of cards to add.

I apologize if this has been answered elsewhere, but is there a faster way to do this? When I add non-foils, it's very easy to just tick the "+" button next to the quantity for both adding to inventory and adding to my trade list. I would be very grateful if someone can help me find a shortcut.

Hello Adam,

In the add widgets you mention, you can "Edit Defaults" to set foil as a default flag. This will stay 'sticky' until you change it back, and it gets applied when you add things. So you can just click the '+' icon and it will add things foil.

This is great, and I can't wait to use this feature, but I cannot locate that setting. I do not see it anywhere in the All Printings database where I am wanting to add cards.

Yeah this is quite confusing indeed, I will have to surface this somehow better.

It is present in any card details dialog next to the set name. So if you click on a count in that listing, on an inventory count for any card, it opens the panel. To the right of "Inventory" there is an "Edit Defaults" button. When you change something in those defaults, they are 'sticky' and saved until you change them again. Try to set it to foil, then close this panel and click the plus. Afterwards click on the count again to inspect what details it added - it should be the foil version.

I will say that if don't forget to set it back to non-foil by mistake, I could end up adding a bunch of cards marked as foil and then have to go back and undo all that. Just something to think about if you decide to change the functionality of this feature.
