Topic name. Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find a forum search feature.

Essentially I'd like to know if there's a way to filter for this, so I can know how many new copies of cards I need to buy when building decks. If it exists, is it also possible to filter in other ways, such as when the copies in decks and inventory is equal, or if there are one or more extra copies of a card in inventory?

Yes, in Inventory -> Filter -> Add more Filters -> Count in Collection -> Unused count

Thanks for the reply. Earlier I tried a combination of Unused Count and Count In All Decks and thought it wasn't exactly what I was looking for because it was including cards that I definitely have more copies of in inventory than in decks. But now I realized this was happening because it is applying these filters to each individual printing of a card.

So for example, if I own 3 printings of a card that I have 2 copies of in decks, all printings show up as 1 in inventory, are all individually less than the 2 copies I have in decks, so they all appear on the filtered list.

I guess my question now is, is there a way to make it so all printings I own combine into a single count, and then apply these filters to that?

The only way for this to actually be completely accurate I think is to link the printings you use in decks to the inventory ones. This is a premium feature, not available as a feature to free accounts though. But if you then *now* which exact printing is in which deck, then the 'unused' counts would be correct. (Or if they are not, it's of course a bug).

I've enabled premium and tried messing around with linking specific printings to a deck. While this did manage to cut out unused printings from this list, it still counts printings where I have more copies in decks than that individual printing as separate entities on that list.

I think the main issue is that, while Unused Count is useful, it does not allow for numbers below 0. Because of that, if I filter Count In Decks >= 1 with Unused Count = 0, it gives me a list of every card where the count in decks and inventory match (as well as cards that count in decks is greater than individual printing, as described). What I'd really like is to be able to obtain a list of instances where cards in inventory < cards in decks, with separate printings of a card all being combined in inventory.

There is a workaround I was able to find. By disabling "I am sharing cards between built decks" in my settings, this made cards where I have more in decks than in inventory of a specific printing also get added to this list. While I still have to manually sort through that list to find the ones that were added, this is at least able to get me the info I'm trying to get.
