Saw this deck on the wizards site and thought it looked fun and interested. Figured I'd share it and see what others think about it.

I really don't understand the point of the paradise mantle in this deck. You've only got four creatures, and nothing costs more than two to play. I understand that you want to cast a lot of spells, but there are better ways to get mana than those mantles, which most likely will sit forgotten in your hand or on the battlefield.

The point is that it produces a game winning combo. Almost every spell costs only 1 mana, and is a cantrip, so as long as you have a Blistercoil Weird out, with the Paradise Mantle equipped to it, you can continually tap it to produce one mana, which will allow you to play a cantrip, which will let you untap Blistercoil (because of its ability) and then retap it again for another mana and continue the process as long as you can continue to draw cantrips.

That whole process both pumps Blistercoil to huge proportions to hopefully get a kill in one turn, as well as creating an insanely large Storm count to hit with Grapeshot.

There's even some more tricky plays with cards like Cerulean Wisps that allow you to generate extra mana.
Tap Blistercoil for U. Cast Cerulean Wisps. Resolve Blistercoil trigger, tap for U. Resolve Cerulean Wisps, untapping Blistercoil, tap for U. Now you are up UU and not down any cards because of the cantrip.

It's all actually a very smooth deck.

Yeah its a very fun looking deck, and is very conditional but still fun if it would actually go off. And with everything such a low cost mulligans shouldn't be that painful to get the combo in an opening hand.
