Just wondering if any people out there are going to play esper in m14?
It seems like R/G aggro or Jund will be good, but i can't see anything great for Esper, which is the playstyle i enjoy.

Go to google and type "magic what's happening". It should take you to a link on the wizards page for online play. In the bottom right hand side of the page there are listings of tournaments. If you look at the RTR block tournaments, it's a good indicator of what you might see post rotation, but remember that there are still 2 sets that come out M14 and Theros. Esper is heavily figured.

M14 will not impact the meta a lot, so far only scavenging ooze looks to be a game changing card. I could be wrong though. I'm actually looking towards BG. Golgari has a lot of strong cards in rtr block. vraska, abrupt decay, varolz, lotleth troll, deathrite shaman, deadbridge chant, gaze of granite...

Ah yes, its just i didnt see many good things for Esper in m14
Well, out of the cards released so far that is

ratchet bomb is in there, which can nuke a lot of tokens, doom blade is in there too, but there's still a lot of multicolored creatures, idk now I feel about something that restricts you to killing a non-black in this format.

yeah i know what you mean, with the high amount of people going to be playing B/G or B/R.

I mean the walkers for Esper have been spoiled and are staying the same, which is a bummer. But that aside, there are still a ton of options in those colors. Hell, until Theros comes out you can run Geist of Saint Traft and don't even have to worry about the legend rule. So that being said, look at your current competitive Esper decks and those will be good until Theros hits, at which point, well, all bets are off.

Yeah that was my thoughts.
I have a hard time versing golgari at the moment, seeing as junk and jund are so popular i'm not surprised, it's incredibly strong.
I'm going to stick with orzhov/azorius at the moment until theros comes out, then i'll decide.
